animated short, digital cut-out, D, IL, 2017, 15 min, together with Daniella Koffler (Trailer)

Synopsis

Netta is a young Israeli woman who would like to move abroad – to Germany of all places. Netta’s father, the son of Holocaust survivors, is horrified by her decision.
Torn between haunting memories and shadows of the past, caught between collective memories that have been imprinted on them both for years, Netta and her Dad, the representatives of two different generations, will have to face their demons in Berlin and in Israel, and challenge their identities in order to save their once close relationship.
